CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
At LBC, membership goes beyond simply being added to a list. It entails being an active participant in the life of the church. The point of church membership is a mutually recognized relationship between a Christian and a church in which both of them say “I am devoted to you.” I will share your joy and your sorrows. I will love and care for you. That’s why we call it loving membership!
Becoming a member of LBC.
1. DISCOVER LBC CLASS
Come learn about our beliefs, priorities, and how we intend to follow Jesus together. This class is a prerequisite to church membership, though anyone is welcome to attend! To see when the next class will be held, check here.
2. MEMBERSHIP INTERVIEW
Following the class, anyone who desires to pursue membership will have the opportunity to meet with the elders to hear your testimony and discuss any questions that you might have. To schedule a membership interview please complete the form below
3. AFFIRMATION BY THE CHURCH
After completing the membership interview, prospective members will be presented to the church for affirmation at the next Member’s Meetings. This is an opportunity to recognize our new members and gives everyone an opportunity to greet and welcome you into the body.
